Book Group 2

We have vacancies for new members of our book group. We are an easy going group with no rigid rules as to how we operate. We discuss the plot, the characters and what we liked or did not like about the book. We often end up discussing related topics If we don’t like a book, we don’t have to finish it. We choose our books as a group so that we take into account what our members like and dislike. I research any suggestions and then the group let me know if they like the look of the book or not.

We meet in the Old Bull at a big table in the restaurant which provides a safe environment. We buy coffees etc. which is our contribution to the Old Bull. They don’t charge us for the use of their premises. We usually have a Christmas lunch and sometimes a summer lunch as well. Any excuse to venture out to other pubs!
